I just came back from Houston where I went to the Champ Car World series! i got to go down there for free basically. i was in the pits of the car race and i got to meet a ton of race car drivers! it was soooo much fun.
I'll post pics soon when i'm totally done with summer school and stuff.
oh, and i forgot to mention, it was all for a reality tv show! That's right, i was filmed for reality tv.
that's the short version, i'm too tired to post the long version, but the weekend trip was one of the best of my life!

Okey doke, so I haven't updated in, oh, like 2 or 3 months. let's see, went to Tahoe w/ my family for Christmas vacation. That was fun, but we had to live for 36 hours without any hot water or electricity. Not a good thing to happen in a city where it's snowing constantly.
Um, i didnt get in any shows, but i'm in directing class so i'll get to direct one! that'll be pretty cool.
I'm teaching 2 exercise classes, one which i want to teach, the other I got stuck w/ because the coodinator is rather stupid and gave me a class that I don't know anything about. He just handed me a dvd of it and said "just watch this." Not very helpful.
I'll try and update more if I get around to it. A little too busy right now. I'm trying to get on Martha Stewart's new show so I can learn how to cook, hehe. She's taking college kids who cant cook, and I figure, that's pefect for me!

You Cant' Take It With You tickets are on sale! and they're going fast, so get them, or lemme know if you want me to get them for you. Only $5 for students. Rehearsals are going so well, and it's going to be so fun!
My character's name is Rheba, which is a version of my name, Rebekah. And this russian character calls rheba Rebishka, so I think that's my name in Russian. It may not amuse you, but it amuses me.
it's in the Buschman Theatre- recently redone and we're rededicating it or something. I hope people can come, it's gonna be great!

wow, havent updated in forever.
rehearsals for You Cant Take It With You are going GREAT! I am having the BIGGEST BLAST. The director that i'm working with, Harry Parker, is like, one of the best directors i've worked w/ ever. He just blocked the show act by act, we ran through the all the blocking on another day, and then we had to be off book. Basically, after only 1 wk of rehearsals, we had to be off book. i thought it was crazy, but it's WONDERFUL. We'll have way more than a month to work on character and WHY we say this line, etc. Also, after we warm up, we always play a game! Oh it's just soooo fun. And, of course, the cast is stinkin awesome as well.
Lion Hunt was last night. It was basically a giant water gun/shaving cream fight that my sorority had at this advisor's house. Only downside was that it was FREEZING outside, and getting wet was not very nice. Pics coming soon!
